The laws of the land and the laws of God are similar yet again they are both weak in what they do. For the law on its
own is powerless and can do nothing but cause burden and oppression. The more law given means the more burdens to bear. It
is the law keeper that is the power behind the law, but not the law itself. Many people are attempting to attain access to
the Holy of Holies because of their own self-induced righteousness that does not and will not exist and think and convince
themselves that this will be enough to win the favor and grace of God. We the people are spiritually bankrupt and deserve
death. For we, and this means all people who have breath under heaven are all sinners and because sin is spiritual and sin
is wrong doing and breaking a holy and righteous statute or governing authority spoken simply means then that the wages of
sin is death, (Romans 3:23) and since we the carnal man is riddled in sin and cannot escape its grasp and its call on our
lives; we have no choice but to submit to its call. We need a governing authority that is bigger, stronger, and more powerful
then the grasp of sin is and for that governing authority to have precedence within us to help us achieve what we cannot do
on our own. It was for this reason that God sent His Son, or His Word made to be flesh to conquer sin for us by becoming sin
for us, so that death would be destroyed and done away with and life would reign! Now Christ Jesus has become our righteousness,
because He become sin for us, but sin could not hold the body or life of Jesus for Jesus did not sin or even entertain sin,
so sin had no grasp, no hold, no authority over the flesh of Christ Who was perfect as the Father is perfect, thus the Lord
asked Satan, “Where oh death is your sting?” 1 Corinthians 15:55 - O death,
where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? Amplified Version.
James 2:8-13 - If indeed you [really] fulfill the royal Law in accordance with the Scripture, You shall love your neighbor
as [you love] yourself, you do well. But if you show servile regard (prejudice, favoritism) for people, you commit
sin and are rebuked and convicted by the Law as violators and offenders. For whosoever keeps the Law [as a] whole but stumbles
and offends in one [single instance] has become guilty of [breaking] all of it. For He Who said, You shall not commit adultery,
also said, You shall not kill. If you do not commit adultery but do kill, you have become guilty of transgressing the [whole]
Law. So speak and so act as [people should] who are to be judged under the law of liberty [the moral instruction
given by Christ, especially about love]. For to him who has shown no mercy the judgment [will be] merciless, but mercy [full
of glad confidence] exults victoriously over judgment. Amplified Version.
Unless you are grounded in grace the rest of the gospel will not come together
effectively for you. There is a great and most powerful power and anointing founded within the heart of Grace. This grace
reflects or mirrors the very spirit of God upward and then outward because it is initiated inwardly by a source far greater
then we ourselves are. This power is called the “Agape” love of God and this is activated by faith founded on
belief and of course instilled by having a personal and intimate relationship with the Living God Who longs to bestow upon
ALL of His children the blessings and power of Grace that is freely offered by those who are humble, willing, and teachable.
Luke 2:40 - And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with
wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him. Amplified Version.
This scripture has an amazing and most powerful truth in it that is so commonly
missed by many. We all need to know and to come to an understanding that Jesus come in the flesh to show and to set examples
for us to follow after as best we know how and of course by the leading and empowering of Holy Spirit within us to accomplish
all that the Father requires of us. Again what is written has precedence over what people “think”! What God says
is what matters, and the great thing about what God says is, Our Father has covered His entire base line regarding His Word
and the teaching of it. What God has done is He is redundant regarding what He has stated and what is to be done and how it
is to be done. What God says in one place regarding an issue, and then God will say it again in another place and this is
for validation and for confirmation of what is actually spoken. No scripture ever stands alone, not ever!
When we consider that actual meaning to what “Grace” actually is,
we are going to be highly enlightened as to the promises and blessings filled with endless benefits designed to overwhelm
and to overtake the child of the Living God who chooses to believe and to take by faith the promises of God and allow God
to be God in their life.
Grace derives from the Greek word “Charis”.
Its meaning is as follows: graciousness, as gratifying, of manner or act (abstract or concrete; literal, figurative, or spiritual;
especially the divine influence upon the heart and its reflection in the life; including gratitude, acceptable, benefit, favor,
gift, grace, joy, liberality, pleasure, thanks, worthy. Philippians 4:23 - The grace (spiritual favor and blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) be with your spirit. Amen (so be it).
Everything mentioned here in the definition or connotation of what grace means
and is, automatically applies to you, in you and all about you. The Spirit of God called Holy Spirit is the director, changer,
educator, strength, power, ability, knowledge, wisdom, character, and personage of Jesus the Christ in full and this same
Spirit will be reflected in you and I because of the working of Holy Spirit Who will bring us to perfect perfection in and
of Christ Jesus dwelling within us. And this because God has promised to bring to completion the work first started in you
and me. Philippians 1:6. Nevertheless when we consider Philippians 4:23 and when the promise written within that powerful
scripture comes to light in your world; then you will come to realize that the grace which is spiritual favor and blessing
of the Lord, or from the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the Anointed One is also with your and my spirit, making us one with Him
and One with the Father also. So what Jesus did and could do, we also can do and this is verified when Jesus said: I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things
that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. John 14:12. Amplified Version. This
is where man’s faith begins to fail in many cases, because this does not allow an Almighty and Most Powerful God able
to be held in a box or controlled by human limitations or understandings and thus people fear with the wrong kind of fear
and usually pay the consequences for their denial of spiritual truths and this to their own loss and shame. All this because
they do not trust, rely on, believe or accept the power of the Living God. They want God to be a simple man just like the
rest of us or some kind of trainable “Superman”, and this is being said to their own shame.
One of the major important facts concerning this truth regarding who and what
we the sinner are and what we can become in and through Jesus the Christ and His shed blood is what the following scriptures
given state and with meaning added to them in the fashion that they are given and this by inspiration of Holy Spirit, they
will help people come to a spiritual truth and awakening that will surely bless them beyond belief; and again this does deal
with the very real and very powerful Spirit of the Living God.
Romans 3:24 - [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace
(His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus. Amplified Version.
Ephesians 2:8,9 - For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that
you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation]
is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Not because of
works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly
do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.] Amplified Version.
The Gospel and the gift of Grace given and
being offered has nothing to do with what man has done, nor does it deal with what man could ever do or accomplish in this
lifetime or in any other lifetime for that matter and this in regards to perfect righteousness and being found in the flesh
and to win favor in the eyes and heart of our God Who is HOLY! The gospel is all about Jesus and what He has successfully
accomplished for all of us who will simply choose to enter in and receive as the Father Gives and does. People need to stop
thinking of themselves more highly then they ought to, for this kind of thinking leads to pride and arrogance and to a lack
of humbleness, which then means many people who entertain such foolishness are missing the blessings of the Lord for the Lord
our God favors the humble over the proud.
Hebrews 12:28,29 - Let us therefore, receiving a kingdom that is firm and stable and cannot be shaken, offer to God
pleasing service and acceptable worship, with modesty and pious care and godly fear and awe; For our God [is indeed] a consuming
fire. Amplified Version.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is then
there is freedom and liberty. Let that very truth sink deep into your hearts and minds. Let your souls be captivated by this
truth. Meditate on the grace of our God and receive all that God has for you and not because you feel your flesh now qualifies
for the righteousness of God, because it doesn’t and the carnal side of man never will measure up. 2 Corinthians 3:17 - Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation
from bondage, freedom).
The reality of this whole thing is when Holy Spirit Who is the third person
in the Godhead or the Trinity is present within your life then the fullness of God the Father is in you and this is because
you have accepted the blood covenant offered in and by, which includes through Jesus the Christ (Meaning Anointed One), and
are now forever blessed and filled with the very Spirit of the Author and of Life! This in itself is part, and is a very big,
a HUGE part of what the riches found in Christ Jesus are for us here in this world and being on this side of heavens spectrum.
This next scripture and promise given clearly states that we who are in Christ
Jesus and Christ Jesus Who is in us, means that we are filled with every spiritual blessing there is to be found in the heavens
and in Christ. The reason being is because that same Jesus is in you and me. If He is in you and me, then everything that
Jesus did and could do - can be done again but this time in and through you and me, if we are willing to allow God to be God
in us! Ephesians 1:2,3 - May grace (God's unmerited favor) and spiritual peace [which
means peace with God and harmony, unity, and undisturbedness] be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed
us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm! Amplified Version.
We
should all know and realize that the grace, the liberty and the mercies of God have not been allotted in the lives of people
in order for people to do what ought not to be done. At one time we were a people who also chased after the self-gratifying
pleasures our flesh desired and so wanted. At one time we considered the riches of the world to be of utmost pleasure and
meaning until they proved to be cold, meaningless and utterly pointless. Nothing in this world will fill the empty void within
us desiring more, and longing to be filled with some kind of purpose and meaning that will give us self-worth and value allowing
us to be validated as the individuals that we are. The grace and liberty given was allotted for the fact that we as individuals
with the gift of “Free will” could live and live life in abundance and to the glory of our King and Savior. The
benefit of grace and liberty is absolute and complete when founded in Christ Jesus alone.
When we the redeemed of the Lord, and are firmly grounded in the liberty and
grace of our God it will be then that the riches of heaven will be released in the life and heart of individuals who will
be true warriors regarding the Kingdom of the Living God and will be saints walking and living in the very power of God just
like Jesus said we would and could do. The grace of God transforms our minds, our hearts, our viewpoints, our perspectives,
our emotions, our opinions, and our very lives to reflect the very Spirit of the Living God dwelling and mirroring through
us and this to the glory of God the Father in and through Christ Jesus our Lord. Even though there are many people opposed
to the truth of God’s grace, and believe me there are many out there who are opposed to this truth; does not mean that
the authentic message is corrupted or defiled because it is not, but is complete and fully finished in and through the blood
of Christ Jesus and will prove true each and every time and this without fail.
Galatians 5:1 - In [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely
liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you
have once put off]. Amplified Version.
This scripture clearly points out that we are all COMPLETELY liberated and totally set free in Christ and not to be ensnared
by a yoke of slavery again. That yoke of slavery is to attempt to live up to the law and staying focused on the letter of
the Law instead of being focused on the Spirit of the Law. Nevertheless as a reminder to all, where the Spirit of the Lord
is, there is liberty, freedom and grace for it is forever found in the heart and mercy of God the Father the Giver of Grace
and mercy without end.
Colossians 3:16 - Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the
Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train
one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts. Amplified Version. As we mentioned earlier, grace will transform our very lives in such phenomenal ways that the
truth of its entirety is beyond our carnal comprehension, so there is no point even attempting to understand spiritual truths
by carnal measures. As the scripture says, flesh gives birth to flesh, but spirit gives birth to spirit. This in itself is
called or known as the “Born-again” experience. The point being is, when we consider the scripture found in Colossians
chapter 3, it ends with a bolded statement which again needs to be planted deep within the heart and mind of all saints. His Grace in our hearts, and not our own, and this based on and with our own understandings
and with our own limitations and simply attempt to corrupt what is already holy and purely righteous. Take by faith the promises
God has given and walk in them!
Ephesians 3:8,9 - To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God's consecrated people), this grace (favor,
privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable,
and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out], also to enlighten all men and make
plain to them what is the plan [regarding the Gentiles and providing for the salvation of all men] of the mystery kept hidden
through the ages and concealed until now in [the mind of] God Who created all things by Christ Jesus. Amplified Version.
Philippians 1:2 - Grace (favor and blessing) to you
and [heart] peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah). Amplified Version. You will notice that
after the book of Romans, the book of Grace and mercy that each book afterwards starts with a very familiar start and it is
found as it is said here in the book of Philippians. Grace (favor and blessing) to you and [heart] peace from God our
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah). Amplified Version.
The reason being is because when you greet or are greeted with Grace
and Peace to you this is said to be a blessing one to greet all the saints with. The words together when combined is a powerful
blessing in order to remove the scales of doubt from the eyes, to soften the heart of the reader and to allow him/her to be
teachable and to be open and thus receive from the teachings of Holy Spirit as we consider and study His word and learn of
our Saving Grace. Also the greeting is in the form of a “Shalom” which is a powerful and a powerfully anointed
blessing within itself. The whole idea of what God has done is to help equip us the fallen in the reading of His word and
by first being blessed by our Savior with the grace and peace being spoken directly to us in order to be lifted up and held
in heavenly places by our saving grace whose name is Jesus!
Until we come to understand our ambassadorship in and under Christ Jesus and
come to understand the liberty and grace that holds and sustains us without end or without fail. The gospel in which we share
is not always the gospel of Jesus or the Word or will of God in whom we have been entrusted this gospel with to willingly
share with others. That is why it is so important to be careful regarding the foundations on which we are called to build
on and to build with confidence and again with great humbleness. Again this deals with the Lord building the house, not us,
for our own houses are not fully constructed yet either – so to remember to be very careful when we are out working
on other houses that are just as incomplete as we ourselves are and this again should be founded and established in the same
grace in which we ourselves have received from our Heavenly Father.
When we drift from the foundation of grace, we have missed the mark and are
headed into legalism which then leads to carnal works and self-worth and again, nothing of the carnal nature has any value,
absolutely none. We then begin to put grace on the backburner and attempt to add value to the already priceless gift of salvation
founded in grace and begin to work for what cannot be worked for or attained by human measures. This cheapens the lessens
the power of Grace in the life of individuals because of a lack of understanding the grace concept in its complete fullness
and this is the very reason “Religion” takes precedence and Jesus gets pushed to the back of the room, and people
get spiritually lost, burdened and embraced with bondage. Let the man who has spiritual ears hear what is being said. Let
the man who has spiritual eyes see what is being stated here. Let the man who has a heart of flesh know and understand and
willingly accept what has been stated here and this to the glory of the Living God and to the benefit of all who should hear
this crisp, clear, life changing and most profound gospel message.
1 Corinthians
3:10,11 - According to the grace (the special endowment for my task) of God bestowed
on me, like a skillful architect and master builder I laid [the] foundation, and now another [man] is building upon it. But
let each [man] be careful how he builds upon it, for no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid,
which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Amplified Version.
Ephesians 4:7 - Yet grace (God's unmerited favor) was given to each of
us individually [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ's [rich and bounteous]
gift. Amplified Version.
Hebrews 13:8,9 - Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday,
today, [yes] and forever (to the ages). Do not be carried about by different and varied and alien teachings; for it is good for the heart to be established and ennobled and strengthened by means of grace (God's favor and spiritual
blessing) and not [to be devoted to] foods [rules of diet and ritualistic meals], which bring no [spiritual] benefit or
profit to those who observe them. Amplified Version.
One of the biggest problems I have found
among Christians and Saints founded in the blood of Jesus the Christ is the words that proceed from their mouths. The one
thing particularly that comes to mind is curse and coarse words that benefit no one, either the listener nor the speaker of
such words, and then turn and attempt to bless someone after they have just cursed another. James 3:8-11 - But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly
poison. With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who were made in God's likeness! Out of the same mouth
come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not to be so. Does a fountain send forth [simultaneously]
from the same opening fresh water and bitter? Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine figs? Neither can a
salt spring furnish fresh water. Amplified Version.
Our speech should be in line with our Father’s speech and seasoned with
salt (Grace) in order that others may find the same saving grace in us that was freely given to us in order to win others
and save them from death. Discipline is always in order and should be one of the major priorities in our life. When we choose
to stop or give up, it us then that lose. However if we continue in the race, and this by picking ourselves up, catching ourselves
in our weaknesses and laying them before the Lord, asking Jesus for His Spirit to strengthen and to lead us, then God is forever
faithful in helping us in our weaknesses and to learn to be dependent on Him for all things, even the words that proceed from
our own mouths.
Colossians 4:6 - Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and
winsome), seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who
puts a question to you]. Amplified Version.
1 Peter 5:5 - Likewise, you who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject
to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides of the church)--[giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel].
Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, so that it’s covering cannot possibly
be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For God sets Himself against the proud (the
insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)--[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them],
but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble. Amplified Version.
As I travel around by the leading of Holy
Spirit, the Lord allows me many times to meet many different individuals founded in the faith. Through the leading and prompting
of Holy Spirit I have learned and have been disciplined in the area of accepting people right where they are at. Indeed, there
are many times when I hear particular theories and theologies that literally contrast with the teachings in which I myself
have received. Regardless, I personally am not the Savior of the world, I am, like all of you a messenger of the coming Lord
and of His saving Grace in the life of men. Even so, when someone comes to me with idea’s, whims or theologies that
I find are not spiritually sound; I will attempt to correct the individual as I know best. If this is received then praise
the Lord, but if it is not, I do not take the gospel personally in this manner. I simply lay it at the feet of Jesus and ask
Him to take care of His own, I have been faithful in what He has required me to do, and then the rest is now up to Him. Since
I know this is the case, why would I lose my peace and joy to take personal what I cannot change? Selah. (Meditate on that.)
I have found that some people make food
part of their religion, again, others make clothes part of the religious process, then again, others will use animals and
reptiles for the religious process of appeasing God and even use scripture to back up what they are instilling in the hearts
of their followers. These are just a few of the most common things used in religions and of course are scripturally based.
This in itself then reveals to the spiritually wise that some are weaker in the knowledge of grace then others are. Some people’s
faith is relying on physical things to attain spiritual maturity, but they fail and fall short and realize it not. Even so,
Jesus is still Lord and is still Lord of their lives. Jesus then tells us not to judge (With judgment filled with condemnation)
our brothers who are of a weaker faith. Consider carefully what is written in Romans chapter 14.
1 Corinthians 10:29 - I mean for the sake of his conscience, not yours, [do not eat it]. For why should
another man's scruples apply to me and my liberty of action be determined by his conscience? Amplified Version. We should not allow our freedoms founded in the grace of Jesus be harmful to another who is
not quite as free or who has not quite come to the understanding of the grace that has also saved them who are weaker in faith.
The Lord is watching and holds us accountable to Him for the grace that we have freely received. God has allotted or placed
people where they are for a particular reason. Even if we do not understand why they are where they are, the truth of the
matter is, that is between them and God and not you and them. Let God be God and let us just remain students and servants
to the Lord our God.
When people get way out of whack and decide
to fully put the grace of God on a back burner and attempt by carnal means to appease a righteous and holy God, not only do
we waste our time and effort, but we are now walking cursed and have the audacity to call it blessed. The worst kind of depravity
that man could fall in to is entering the spirit of Anti-Christ, or to have a spirit that denies Jesus the Christ His Deity,
His Authority, His Calling, His Purpose and His own Personage as the Second person in the Godhead or the Trinity. These people
are called apostates… for they choose to deny the one and only saving grace that is available to all men upon their
acceptance of Him. 2 Peter 2:19 - They promise them liberty, when they themselves are
the slaves of depravity and defilement--for by whatever anyone is made inferior or worse or is overcome, to that [person or
thing] he is enslaved. Amplified Version. There are many people who would rather carnally please and appease our Heavenly
Father then to receive the promised gift through and by the blood of Jesus and this to their own downfall and hurt. Jesus
continuously warned us through the Pharisees and the Sadducees that they were carnal, they had head knowledge but they offered
no spiritual or heart knowledge which made their testimony invalid and of course the teachings and glory of men, which in
itself had nothing to do with the heart and will of God the Father.
The Lord our God knows that we are a weak and a lost people
without Him. It was for this reason that Jesus come in the form of man, which means God incarnate in the flesh. John 1:1,
14. Jesus come in mans place in order to conquer what we ourselves could not defeat on our own. We were all that precious
to Him that He should die for us while we were yet still sinners. How great and how awesome is our God! God then did something
even more wonderful for all of us, He offered us His Holy Spirit to live and to dwell within us to lead us, to teach us, to
show us, and to impart God’s own heart into our own so that we through and by Him could mirror the heart of God not
only back to the Father but to other lost sinners like you and me in order to win them over to the Fathers love and mercy.
1 Peter 5:10 - And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor],
Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish
and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you. 2 Peter 3:18 - But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength)
and recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor,
majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)! Amplified Version.
So why do you think that I do not take personally what others attempt
to do with the gospel of Jesus? Even though their heart may be sincere and their gospel is an out to lunch whim does not change
the reality of the situation. God is still God and Jesus still reigns. There is not one of us who at one time or another has
not corrupted the gospel within our own realms of understanding. We all stand guilty, and the reason I can say this with confidence
is because we are in the flesh and there is not a soul on earth who has the gospel as a one hundred percent understanding
in full. We are all students under One God. The reason being that I do not take personally the whims and ideas of others whether
they be in right standing with God the Father or not is this scripture as long as Jesus Christ is preached, taught and ministered
as Lord, God and Savior. “But what does it matter? The important thing is that
in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue
to rejoice”. Philippians 1:18. NIV.
We are all accountable to the King of kings in regards to His own Gospel. Whether
we are in line with the will and desire of God or not does not mean that God will fall from His all Authority position or
will He stop reigning in the heavens because He will not do that. There are consequences in which have to be dealt with even
in regards to the teaching of a false or wayward gospel that is man instituted and not God ordained. With this knowledge the
“Dogmatism” of many should now start to depart and weaken its grip on the hearts and souls of men, and if it doesn’t
then they themselves will have to deal with the Lord in the measure that He will allow. Regardless of what men may say and
believe, we are all saved by Grace, the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and nothing, and that means absolutely nothing
will ever change that reality.
“We
always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ
Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints—the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for
you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. All over the world
this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's
grace in all its truth. You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our
behalf, and who also told us of your love in the Spirit.
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have
not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every
good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you
may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share
in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought
us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over
all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or
powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things
hold together. In addition, he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead,
so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through
him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed
on the cross.
Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your
minds because of your evil behavior. Now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy
in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved
from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under
heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill
up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church. I have
become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness—the mystery that
has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among
the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so
that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works
in me.” Colossians 1:3-29 NIV.
“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for
all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident
of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:3-6. NIV.
“And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more
in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the
day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.”
Philippians 1:9-11. NIV.
The Gospel and the gospel message is all
about Jesus and it is always going to be about Jesus, NOT YOU! John 5:39 - You search
and investigate and pore over the Scriptures diligently, because you suppose and trust that you have eternal life through
them. And these [very Scriptures] testify about Me! Amplified Version.
Titus 3:4-8 - But when the goodness and loving-kindness of God our Savior to man [as man] appeared, He saved us, not
because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of
the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit, which He poured out [so] richly upon us through Jesus Christ
our Savior. [And He did it in order] that we might be justified by His grace (by His favor, wholly undeserved), [that we might
be acknowledged and counted as conformed to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action], and that we might become heirs
of eternal life according to [our] hope. This message is most trustworthy, and concerning these things I want you to insist
steadfastly, so that those who have believed in (trusted in, relied on) God may be careful to apply themselves to honorable
occupations and to doing good, for such things are [not only] excellent and right [in themselves], but [they are] good and
profitable for the people. Amplified Version.
I personally do not know how many ways and in how many different scenarios that can be given that will get you all
to understand and to come to the conclusion that our salvation rests in Christ Jesus alone. His grace, His actions, His doings,
His blood, and His covenant freely given to all who would willingly call upon Him and simply trust in Him to honor what He
has spoken in to the hearts and lives of people. He is a God that will not lie, nor deceive His children. We are all too precious
to Him for God to play with our lives in such a manor. The price for grace is so high nothing compares to it, absolutely nothing.
It is time now to step out in faith and to simply take the Lord at His word, accept it and then walk in it, trusting and depending
on our Heavenly Father to bring to completion the work first started in you as stated in Philippians 1:6.
Go in peace,
Shalom.
